I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. How do real estate lenders take cash flow into consideration? For example, typically I would probably only be approved for a $500k loan ($125k comp and $100k for down payment), but if I’m buying a multi-family home and planning to live in a unit and rent the others, will lenders approve a bigger loan?
