Hi , I am Tech Lead , also I am interested in design. I have taken a few courses on UX design and was following a path to crack design exams in India. But after trying a couple of times I failed and there are family restrictions now.

Would anybody help me out how to engage myself in UX design. Should I redesign products already available in the market to build a portfolio which I can do alone.
But I want to do User Research, User Testing, and Interviews etc work more with a field team. any sugs

Use UX Hacks, a website where you see a problem and try to solve it. The solution wouldn't only be about creating UI but creating experience in such ways which can help in increases retention, increase DAU/MAU, conversions etc hence allowing you to research, tests, take interviews as well.

Will try

Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

Any leads/strategy to crack this would be greatly appreciated.
