Hi! I have 3 YOE in consulting, just got a corp. strat offer I am excited about (industry + role), but comp is 17% lower than current:

(1) is this pay cut normal when moving to corp strat. at this level? Can't find much on Glassdoor

(2) Is progression typically slower and less certain in corp strat.? If so, does that mean it'll take longer to reach the same comp trajectory?

(3) How would you approach this decision? Look elsewhere vs. stay abit longer?

Have you ever heard of an Associate Account Supervisor? Is that a role/position that exists anywhere? Is it just above Senior Account Executive? What would the responsibilities entail?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Any suggestion on relatively cheap neighbourhood for a mid 20s couple in london? - - Preferably less than 30 mins commute to Green Park/ bloomsbury/ holborn area.
- Would prefer not to have to worry about being stabbed on the street.
- balcony or a garden would be nice
