Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Hours worked is less so per hour comp is better and better WLB
Progression in industry is always slower including comp growth. Usually you can’t move up until someone moves on or you change teams. Don’t expect consulting style comp or promo increases
Take it if you enjoy the industry + company
Is it definitely corp strat? Or is it transformation strat? Pay cut can be normal but generally corp development can still pay very well.
It isn't great. But it depends on your current salary. -17% doesn't mean the same thing if you were making £120k vs £50, and both are plausible at 3 YOE. Comp trajectory will be slower, and almost completely flat in a declining industry
