Hi, I have a total of 5 YOE in Backend and got an offer from Pismo for a staff Software engineer role but my doubt is that there hiring process was very easy not what i expected from staff engineer role, is there something that i am not getting to understand, also they payband is equivalent to Visa.
I want to undersatand what will be expected out of me for this role.

I have interviews coming up at BD in Maryland and, coming from the hospital world, I have no clue what salary to ask for. The position is a scientist/quality role for microbiology research and development. For context, I have 4 years of experience in a hospital blood bank and am a certified Medical Laboratory Technologist. I was thinking in the 65-70k range, but the recruiter made it seem like that was easily attainable so I’m worried I’m asking too low. Would 75-80k be do-able?
