Location depends on the hcl software product . Few products setups are in bangalore and for few its noida or mumbai. You can directly discuss you location queries from your manager or HR and clear you points before joining.
Mine base location is Bangalore as my product setup and server reside there but i have never been to Bangalore since i have joined.

Anyone else just sitting around waiting for the ax to drop? I'm a soon to be 2nd year corporate associate who has seen work completely dry up. My utilization held pretty steady around 50% immediately after shutdown, but August was below 15 billables with no appreciable work in the pipeline. Aside from letting people know I'm available and doing pro-bono/CLE, it's starting to feel like a serious "covidcation" leading to termination.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.
