Hi - I have been referrred by two poeple to apply for roles at Google. WIth the first referral I applied to two roles and would like to use the second google employee referral for a role. But when I try to apply it auntimatically selects the first referral and won't let me chnage this. Is tehre any way to go around this? Also, if I apaply to 3 roles, does that stop me from applying to 3 other roles for a certain period of time? Thanks in advance for the tie and help!@google

No it’s first come first serve in terms of referrals- it’s “first contact” basically. You cant technically use two referrals in the system but you can use their name as an internal reference once you’re in the process, if you get to hiring committee.

And yes you can only apply to 3 roles within a 30 day time span.

Hi,
I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?

Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷

Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? I feel like this is not a good reflection of their recruiting process. Let me know if you've had recent/similar experiences
