Hi! I’m new to the GRC space. I’ve got a 3y of exp working in Internal Audit for an airline. I’ve got no background or interest in accounting. I have a shot at another Int. Audit role at a bank and a Compliance Monitoring role at a large media company - both with a focus on analytics. And, I have a tech-ish background. I’m just curious to know what the differences are in working for each of these teams: internal audit vs compliance vs fraud investigations. Pros/cons & growth opps of each?

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay.
