Hey mates, I have an overall experience of 14 years with 6lakh CTC. Started my career in BPO though I am from computer science background and then proved myself for the IT movement within the same company before 8 years (6 years in BPO and 8 years in IT). Nothing is changed financially but in a better role. Have got certified in GCP. I stayed here for too long because I was looking for an onshore opportunity but now luck is not favouring me in H1B lottery. Looking for your valuable suggestions!

I want to join company x more due to their tech stack, culture etc. It's also an established product based company while y is service based.
How do I initiate negotiations with x? I have plenty of time left in notice, but x also requested to join early (if previous company releases, with buyout+bonus) for which I have discussions next Wednesday.

I have joined in may 2022, but not liking the work i am doing, its basically different than my expertise, by when i will be able to apply for IJP?

At a dead end and don't know what to do besides stop! I've been job searching everyday, some days several hours for 8 months straight. Have you ever been told off by an older attorney of color? We have one Black partner at our firm and in conversation with him this morning he told me I should work on sounding and looking "more professional" and not let my "tone" or "bad attitude" get in the way.
