I accepted a role and contract stated a notice of 4 weeks. I have been working in the role for almost 5 months and had a change of circumstances due to which I can no longer continue to work there, can it be advised if I am still liable to give them 4 weeks notice or just 1 week?
Given Fairwork in Australia states it should be 1 week.

My partner and I are looking to move from NYC to Dallas in 2022. I’m in big law and he is a public interest lawyer. Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.
