Hot take: We need to stop calling it Burnout and start calling it Moral Injury because the system is what’s broken, not us. When you are forced to choose between hospital policy and patient safety every single day, that’s not a stress management issue. Calling it burnout makes it sound like we just need more yoga, when we actually need a functional healthcare system. Does anyone else feel like the term burnout is just another way to gaslight the staff?

My company uses ADP for retirement. It has a contribution allocation for just 401k and roth 401k. If I wanted to contribute to a traditional IRA does it need to be through ADP and if so how is that done?

I'm in Oklahoma, and an avid Aldi shopper. Prior to COVID, my favorite merlot was routinely stocked there - under $6 a bottle and better than many $30 bottles I've had. It was by Burlwood Cellars. Sadly, supply chain issues have apparently done a number on Aldi's wine selection and it's not carried there anymore. I've searched high and low for a comparable merlot, but to no avail. So I need alternate suggestions or better still, somewhere I can buy my old fav.

I recently gave my small firm notice that I am leaving and moving to another state. I mentioned that I am considering starting my own practice in the new area, and the managing partner suggested that I transition to an “of counsel” position at a 1099 hourly rate (remote) while I got started.
