I absolutely agree. Burnout makes it sound like a personal problem and moral injury names it as a systems problem (which it is).
I've been a BSN, RN for 45+ years and I suffered through all night shifts for that time being so discouraged and exhausted that some days I wanted to quit. I started as a BSN, RN at $8/hour and I'm criticized for feeling I deserve $45-50/hour now after working continuous nights, weekends, holidays and missing too many important occasions in my life. After a devastating divorce I have NOTHING while my ex-husband inherited (his sole goal for the 35 years we were married was inherited his mother's money/estate) a lot after his mother finally died. I have to rebuild/start from scratch. I carried HIM for the 35 years we were married and he was out of work more than he worked through our marriage. Having nothing and having to work while fighting cancer is VERY stressful.
