Get out of downtown and go to Roses Luxury or Pineapple and Pearls. Tail up Goat is also new and will probably get a Michelin star. There is a new chicken ramen place, Bantam King, down town that is amazing and cheap for lunch.
@PwC1 Founding Farmers is all hype. Food isn't great if you ask me
Agreed on founding fathers. Not great food. Only selling point is convenience for all the offices downtown.
Downtown? Don't go downtown for great food. Go to U street, Georgetown, Columbia Heights, DuPont, Adams Morgan...anywhere but downtown. Founding farmers is great but it's more in Foggy Bottom than downtown. Also it's not new. Are you looking for something specific or a poll?
Walk around 14th or shaw
Something specific. Currently in DuPont. I'm a local but feel like there's nothing new, impressive and trendy
Dabney, bad saint, little serow, irongate in dupont
Fainting goat is a good one...daikaya is opening a second restaurant this weekend in shaw

He said new, stop talking about FF... Try RPM Italian
Ended up at good old bourbon steak. Really appreciate everyone's guidance and will definitely try the places named.

Explore other parts of the city. Try Barracks Row. Rose's, Pineapple & Pearls, Garrison, Belga - there's more to DC than Dupont, Adams Morgan, and Georgetown.
