I don’t think multi family developers could lock in a 30 year loan when rates were at 3% like individual homeowners. I believe defaults on individual mortgages are still very low.
Completely different asset class. You’re comparing apples to oranges. Also in the GFC, there was no where near as bad delinquencies in the MF space as single family. Your post is not news, the multifamily space is very safe even if it gets to 08 levels .

Everything I read still says there is quite a shortage in housing. And if interest rates come back down more people will enter the market. I don’t think a crash is coming anytime soon.
