Cscp is more well known in industry. Some requisitions can say cscp preferred. Not sure what D1 skill set is, but cscp is fairly well known. That said, also fairly unnecessary if you had any formal supply chain schooling
To be honest, I had to look both of these certifications up. Neither one particularly impressed me, although of the two, cslp seems slightly better.
However, treat these as minor enhancements to a strong career background. Without experience, they are both pretty worthless. With good experience, they are unnecessary
Yep thanks for your answers. I agree that it is more like a nice line on a cv and that it is not really necessary but in my country it is mandatory to pass one apics certification to be promoted to senior consultant... Apparently clients were asking for it a lot so they made it mandatory.
The APICS certifications are globally accepted and very well known throughout industry. Many employers stipulate these certs. in their reqs. It really depends on your level of experience in the field. I found the CSCP to be quite helpful.
