Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

I think the best answer is everything at once. I got my present position because someone recommended me. And networking is always one of the best methods of finding a position, of course. But you can't leave anything out. And it's hard to know what to maximize your time on, as it's impossible to know what might turn out to be effective. But you probably can't go wrong by trying to raise your networking game.

Thank you!
For me it was an internal move made possible by networking.
Good luck!
I landed my current role through a mix of networking and LinkedIn. I reached out to connections and kept my profile updated, while also attending industry events. Networking with former colleagues (and asking them for help meeting people that they knew) eventually got me an in. Idk how I would have landed a role otherwise.
I would say they were beneficial but less beneficial than 1:1 contacts I made. I did meet some people that I followed up with /could connect me with something in the future, but that's not how I landed the role I'm in.
Through LinkedIn actually. And that was after applying to anything and everything, tweaking my CV here and there. I previously landed jobs through recruiters but last year was brutal.Just try your luck with all the options I'm reading here, you never know which one would open the doors for you.

Love hearing this. Thank you!
Been working in this crazy industry for 30 years and EVERY role has been connected to my network. Your reputation and network are your net worth! P.s. LinkedIn is a great tool for mining opportunities but ultimately relationships have gotten me the job.
