Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

I was at a sexy dot com oriented agency and was recruited traditional agency side then worked my way to proper producing. Started in film production and will probably go back to that or TV shortly.
I also started in film and landed in adv!
Joe Pytka’s brother John was a hunting buddy of my dad’s. John helped me get my first internship in Pittsburgh, which led to my second internship in NYC, where I was hired without a portfolio as a junior writer when the agency landed the Domino’s Pizza account.
I was a fine art major in college. My dad was a carpenter. He said if I didn’t learn a trade I’d be a starving artist. So I thought, “my best friend’s dad is a sign painter. I’ll learn type and paint signs.” My type teacher in college was Rob Lawton, co-founder of Creative Circus and first educator inductee in The One Club Hall of Fame. He turned me into an ad maker and nurtured me along the way to agency owner and mentor. I’ve been trying to help others do the same throughout my career. It’s been a great experience and life.
