Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.
Let’s clear up some confusion

I'm not going to barter with someone looking for cheap labor or humor a recruiter who's playing the money game to come in with a bargain-priced candidate. I'll ask for the range posted for the position, and if they force me to offer the first number, I'll give a realistically high number based on my needs, and say that there may be some flexibility if it turns out to be a really good fit.
Either you're in the ballpark or you aren't, there is no magic answer thst gets you the job for a good salary.

When you give them a number, it should not be based on your needs. Your needs don’t matter. The number you give them should be based on market data and research. You should gather industry knowledge and find out how much that job pays in your industry in your city. Usually, you will find a “salary range” when you do this research. How high or low you fall within the range depends on your level of skills, experience, knowledge, education, etc.
Best answer in my experience. What is the budget you have for this role? From their answer, negotiate and pursue the salary you desire.
“Before settling on a number, I need to understand the totality of the positional requirements, duties, and the specific details of the comprehensive compensation package being offered.”
These days, healthcare, 401k matching, qualified profit sharing plans, profit incentives, and contractual/elective bonuses matter more than a salary number. I’ve interviewed with companies recently that offer full coverage for a family healthcare plan to an employee contribution of $2700+ for a similar healthcare plan.
That’s a $33k swing just with one benefit variable.
If pressed, I give a number commensurate with NONE of that included and say I’m negotiable based on the comp package.
If they do not provide a salary band for you, go do your research out on glass door or similar sites. Even Siri can come up with a decent salary band I’ve seen that be very close to what is stated on glass door or within a different location of the job Role.
Always make sure you understand what the salary band is so you can give a decent number, but asking them what’s in their budget if you’re speaking with somebody is always a good idea - never give your number first.
However, many times on application sites asking you your current salary and asking you your expected salary are required fields. These are the biggest challenges. How does everybody handle these questions?
I say never gice up your numbers first. Ask for their range and discuss the details of expected responsibilities as each firm is unique. What is high in consulting may be too low when you look at client side, per my experience.
I tell them it’s difficult to set a figure without knowing the full scale of the responsibilities, I’ve found more and more companies expect you to cross into areas beyond the role. Ask what the salary range is. Find out as much about the role and their expectations before answering.
If pressed I respond with, “ I’m flexible for any reason able offer commensurate with my experience .”

I usually look at their range and then at comparable jobs and then add a little bit! But highly varies based on the job and company
