Anybody can refer me for Ansys?
Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

Because I want money
I hate such uestions. For charity organizations these questions are ok but everywhere else its for money…
You don’t have any career ambitions ?
Sure, we all do....probably. But those come after we have secured a salary because we humans have this nasty habit of having to eat every day and getting sick and dying if we don't have shelter over our heads.
the honest move is to translate it. "why this company" really means "what have you noticed about how we work that made you think you'd be effective here." that framing lets you give a real answer without performing enthusiasm you don't feel. specificity beats sincerity theatre every time.
I fake it till I make it. Come up with a standard answer that you give every company do the life of your career. It’s easier for me that way. Practice it in the mirror out loud. I’ve been faking the answer to this question my whole career. My real answer is: so I won’t be poor, so my family won’t starve and live on the streets, and so we can live a relatively comfortable and healthy life.
I typically say "I'm looking for cool work cause I'm a smart guy. I don't know if you have cool work, maybe, but to find out I'm here"
