Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

For time off, planned in advance? Always.
I was recently offered a short remote freelance project in from a NY agency that sounded great… until they told me about a few important project days that landed on a date I’d already booked a long-planned trip. They’ve been flaky throughout the process, and I was tired of bending. So, I said no.
Now part of me feels dumb for turning down work. But part of me feels proud for finally holding a boundary.
Important to know: Im currently booked somewhere else and that will remain.
So I’m curious: when do you choose yourself over the gig?
And have you ever regretted saying “no” to something that didn’t quite feel right?
That’s the hardest part of freelance- the constant calculation about what money you’re not making.
I was interviewing for a really big job at a tech platform. They knew I am a freelancer and months of interviews later they dropped "hey since you are freelance now why not freelance for us for a while and we can see where it goes". Of course they could have asked me that at the beginning without dangling an awesome full time role for months, and so I said no, I am not open to that. Then they ghosted me. I wouldn't have felt right about it and I would have also given up any leverage I had for getting hired. I still wonder sometimes but I think it was the right thing to do.
