Just had a “tech screen” with a startup where the interviewer was rude and condescending. Kept berating me when I made a minor mistake and talked over me when I’d try to explain my thought process.

Note to interviewers, do better. It’s a candidate’s market and you’ll have a hard time attracting talent with a toxic culture.

What’s more valuable experience for someone joining a strategy group in industry (f500, faang, or startup)? Actual strategy consulting experience or general consultant experience like workshopping?

What jobs pay $200K+ in Florida?

Just curious how many interviews did you go on before landing a job? Iv already had 5 different interviews where I make it to the final rounds and they just say they are going a different direction with someone with more experience. I have one that I’m waiting back to hear from and have a second round with Amazon. If I don’t get these I’m debating on if I should read/study leadership books to try and change my approach when answering these questions.

Hi everyone,

My company is sponsoring my greencard and they wanted me to send employment verification letters (EVLs) to previous employers. In the EVLs drafted by the lawyers, they indicated that I gained or used certain skills or software at previous companies (it's a strategy for sponsorship) while in fact I didn't for some of the skills. I'm really afraid my previous employers won't sign those letters. Did something similar happen to you during your greencard filing process?

Anyone notice an increased soreness in the lower back after starting to use a standing desk? I didn’t have much of a problem with my regular desk.
