I have ADHD and so I work best in sprints. One day will be hyperproductive and I'll get most of the week's work done, and the next day, I'll be able to only do emails and meetings. Does anyone else struggle with this? How do you handle the expectation that you do 1/5 of the week's work each day vs loading it up on hyperfocus days?

Is it worth it to get an official diagnosis for autism? I heard the process takes a few months, and you have to collect a lot of things, and spend a lot of time to get it sorted. So far, I’ve just had some suggestion from the psychiatrists who diagnosed me with ADHD. You can “typicalise” ADHD, but you can only work around autism, right? What made you pursue a diagnosis?

Do you tell your boss about your quirks? When do you tell them those?
