How do you know if you're underpaid when coworkers won't talk money? I’m trying to advocate for myself at my upcoming review, but my team gets weirdly quiet whenever pay comes up. It’s like a total taboo here. Since I can’t get numbers from people I work with doing the exact same job, what resources do you actually trust to see if you're being paid fairly?

If your wallet is hurting you need a raise, if they can’t provide it you need a job. Plus not being able to discuss pay is usually a good indicator that some of you make a lot more than others…

Hey DFW, TX folks. We're going through comp and merit raises, I suspect you all are too. This is the first year we're using pay ranges from payscale. I am completely surprised of how low compensation is in TX. For any of you that have visibility to pay ranges what is your experience with pay ranges for your company?

Going back to work next month. Have a full time nanny but feel like even that isnt enough. I work all sorts of timezones. Europe has my morning, Asia has my evening. Nanny 9-5? 7-3? 10-6? No clue what will work best and don’t want to be inconsistent with her. Any advice on the return?

Hi everyone,

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

Should I take it or am I making a mistake by taking this.
