Job searching really is more exhausting than having a job. I typically unplug by getting outside for a hike, baking sourdough and meal prepping, and catching up on tv shows. Anything that gives my brain a break! How about you?

That all sounds amazing (especially the sourdough)! I love doing some reading, some cooking/baking, and spending some time at the park with my dogs.
I try to spend my weekends doing things far removed from the job search, or work related things in general. I try to avoid computers and screens as much as I can. There's something to be said for reading books, like real old school paper books. One thing I'd like to do this year is get back my attention span, and putting time aside to read is a major part of that.

YES totally agree with this. I love a traditional "analog" book as well. I had stopped for a while and had to build my attention span back up as well, I found graphic novels worked really well as my "training wheels" to get back into the swing of reading.
Gardening is great - working outside, physical labor, cultivating and growing beautiful plants to enjoy during the week. Detoxing from tech.
