Worked at a firm for over a decade and after I left literally no one reached out to me again. They forget you and life moves on quickly.
You will die one day and life goes by quickly. You get one life. Do what is best for you personally.
Company fires people anytime for any reasons.
Your colleagues will also understand (nor it matter what they think).

No one at your company cares about you, except you.
You should reciprocate that attitude.
Ok well you said "no one at your company" lol, but thanks for clarifying
It’s ok to feel sad about the people and experiences you’re leaving behind it’s human. But don’t feel guilty about leaving.
Guaranteed majority of your coworkers will forget about you so don’t feel guilty

Is this a joke? I only feel guilty i did so much, should have not killed myself for this stupid job when i get paid no more for doing so. Who cares
Don’t be. The sad truth is most companies see their employees as replaceable. At the end of the day the business always goes on with or without you. It’s normal to be sentimental but you have to always put yourself first and move on. You can definitely keep in touch with the colleagues that you have worked well with and you never know if your paths will cross again in the future. But there must be a good enough reason for you to decide to leave so why feeling guilty about a decision made for your own best interest?
