How do you think Target’s DEI rollback will affect teams working on marketing and advertising? Target will “end a program focused on carrying more products from Black- or minority-owned businesses.” Given that part of the draw of Target is its new products and rotating featured designers, what’s the potential impact?

Hmmm this is a good question. Did they do extensive marketing to marginalized communities to highlight these products? There’s talks of a “boycott” of Target rumbling on social media so if that actually gets off the ground that will be interesting to watch unfold.
