My base location is in Gurgaon but my nearest office is in Kolkata and currently I am at my home. Can I get it replaced from Kolkata office? And what is the general time frame for replacement. I was once at a dinner with a second year analyst, consultant, and partner, and the analyst said he planned on retiring by 30 and the partner and consultant laughed. Little did they know, the analyst owned his own home and rented all the rooms out so he payed no rent, never ate out, only grocery shopped, and very very rarely bought anything new. He saved most of his income, and was perfectly content with just his video games. That man was serious about not being stuck working forever.

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Is this a red flag?

PwC A3 here in currently in PCS, but looking to make a transfer into ITS after spring busy season, as well as switch offices. What’s the best way to go about this? Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? Problem is I’m super burned out on law and was planning on quitting law firm in the next few weeks and doing something else with my life. Someone kick some sense into me before I decline the offer.

And my direct manager agrees with him, but it was my third week. What to do? I feel like I’m going to say something crazy. Any advice?
