How important is a 700+ score on GMAT for M7 schools? With 11 years of solid consulting experience, currently SM, but abysmal GPA (~2.5)

Current at wharton mba for exec. Can confirm more than 50% students had 700 on gmat in my cohort. You can get away with no GMAT only if you have certain years of experience (15 years I think?) with executive assessment. Wharton Admissions team will be very open with your chance and actually encourage / discourage you to apply - this is why you also see higher acceptance rate because admissions will stop people from applying if they really have no shot (unlike full time).

What school are you considering?

Yeah, but they recommend taking a GMAT or a Quant course if your undergraduate performance is not a good indicator.

Project management certifications worth it? Don't have much experience but interested in taking courses. What's worth taking? CAPM? CSM? Thanks!

I'm really good at my job, a high performer and have visibility with partners. However, I hate it. I wake up in the mornings feeling angry and resentful. I'm not able to exercise creativity as I'd like to, and feel I'd be happier in a completely different field. I'm scared to leave behind the reputation I've built. Big 4, it's safe/comfortable/addictive and Im addicted to being on cruise control. Anyone else been through the same?

Just got promoted to Senior in NYC. What are compensations like for 2 YOE, non MBA and in tech consulting? Trying to understand if I should negotiate. Am getting 90k. I was expecting six figures by now.

Let’s take a moment and be thankful we have the opportunity to work from home with our work needs/structure. Many people cannot have this luxury and it’s something we should all be blessed about.

Brand new to consulting and honestly don’t know a lot about hierarchy or politics so don’t come for me for asking this lol but why do people always make jokes about being partner and how life is so amazing in that position? What’s the deal?

Been with PWC M&A for 15 months now and recently received an interview for an IB analyst position at a boutique for almost > x2 salary (90 base, 100% bonus). Should I go for it? Is it a step back?
