How is Barclays culture? Promotions?

Just received an offer from citi for a credit risk associate role. There’s no mention of a set bonus range but a mention of “discretionary incentive and retention award”. Is it something standard? Never worked at a BB so don’t know the norm. Thoughts/guidance? Thanks in advance

I’m so tempted to do Feb-March (peak busy season for our client) but I feel completely bad cause I actually like this client/team and I know how a lot of test work is done. (Senior A.) Can I suggest to my manager that rather than taking leave, to schedule me only 40 hours during these times? Would that be unfair to others?

My firm, a small boutique in the region, is only recruiting on a case-by-case basis this year.

How can I sell my 2 years of clerkship as valuable experience for corporate work? I would like to get credit for at least one year (at least in salary, if I can’t in seniority). I know for litigation they are more clearly valued and linked to that type of work, but I have reconsidered my interests and now am thinking of going into corp. Hi everyone, I have a quick question that’s kind of silly. I work at a pretty small company leading marketing. My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. I know titles don’t really matter, but I’m battling a little bit of imposter syndrome.
