1. Just transferred to big 4 FDD as snr from big4 audit (~a month ago, with no deal yet under my belt)
2. Studying for fmva certification
3. 1+ year plan is to take the GMAT & apply to ivy league mba program. Planning to break into IB and then PE later.
4. Got approach recently by a recruiter from Houlihan Lokey (HL) for an associate position in the Midwest. Comp range 120k -130k. I make about 100k now.
- Is the move going to be worth it? what'd you do

What is the best way to structure a discovery call for SaaS sales? e.g. share a deck, only focus on their use case (current state, goals, pain, etc.), share a story, etc. Lastly, how do you go further than surface level, like if they mention they are having issues with xyz, which is usually a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. Networking: I’m trying to build a network with MBB employees but I’m searching for roles in another country where I’ve got minimal school connections. Should I start by building a network in my home country and ask them if they can put me in touch with someone in my target location? Or just go straight to people in my intended location with cold requests/emails? Thoughts and views welcome!
