I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

Why do you think your boss is cool with it? Just a guess...he/she might be facilitating your development for the next step. You're probably going to have to stomach a promotion to Senior AD before ACD.
Do well, then in a couple months book a meeting to have a chat and be prepared to back up what you’re asking for.
Keep track of everything you do on top of your current title-- a physical list. It will be easier when you have specific examples. Once I asked HR to show me the job description of the position above me and I took that and my list to my boss and explained why (with proof) I was ready for the next level. Now, anytime I have some sort of growth convo, I have a folder of "stuff I did" including praises, good work, things above and beyond so I can always show with examples. Good luck!
Just keep doing it and talk about it at your next review. It won’t be any secret.
Do well.
Do what they ask and do it well. You need to prove you can successfully manage on top of your other responsibilities.
What if we don’t have reviews? 🤔 Already been here over a year. Need to know how to start the conversation.
👆🏻👆🏻 This. I recently had to do this and was able to back it up with emails praising my work (both from my team and from higher-ups) and the reports on how well those campaigns performed. Chances are, if they are already giving you more responsibilities, they are testing to make sure you’re ready for a promotion.
