I can't believe the argument I'm having right now. Client is telling me how to design some banners - move the text down, make the logo bigger, "I want to create a hierarchy so let's stack everything" (somebody googled some design terminology) - and I pushed back on a few things that were bad suggestions.

Accounts is telling me to just do what they asked, and I'm saying no, they're paying for our advice and I'm gonna give it even if they ignore it. But accounts is really scared of... ⬇️

How do y’all work with crappy briefs/single-minded ideas? Tight timeline, so I can’t really lobby to change it. But it’s super uninspiring and I’m struggling. 😭
