I've been working at my current job for about a year now and I'm finally beginning to understand how the company works.

It's not easy, though. It's a small company, which means there are only a few of us in each department. There is no dedicated training team, so we all have to learn new things on the fly through trial-and-error or by asking our coworkers for help. The management team seems to be pretty hands off when it comes to project management and project direction, so it's up to us engineers to figure out how we want to spend our time and who we want to work with.

How do you assess your client time as billable or non-billable? We are currently reviewing our time card process and want to better establish groundwork for differentiating between the two. Further to that, do you have your time members log their time and categorize it as Billable/Non-Billable upon submission? or does the Account Manager review submitted time cards and assign each based on the work being logged?

We’re having a baby coming this end of August. KPMG has 12 weeks parental leave. Planning to take 4 weeks in September but I can’t seem to figure out when to use 8 more weeks. I’m so tempted to do Feb-March (peak busy season for our client) but I feel completely bad cause I actually like this client/team and I know how a lot of test work is done. (Senior A.) Can I suggest to my manager that rather than taking leave, to schedule me only 40 hours during these times? Would that be unfair to others?

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. I got offer from NatWest Chennai location . My skills set is project management 13 years experience. They have mentioned in my offer letter B7 corporate title is associate. When I ask to hr guy he said it is equal to Manager level. But title will change department department. Is it true? B7 is manager role ? What is CDIO department in Natwest. Please clear my doubts

Join any dam company in world but dont join lala company HCL. Worked there for 20 days only last yr and 1year later i got my relieving letter after multiple tortures of legal notices for not serving notice period even though when they themselves released me.. from 160k to 0 that i paid them. I could easily sue them for harrasment but i didn't wanted to get involved in useless sh** and waste my time and energy .. BEWARE OF HCL
