I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.

Larsen & Toubro Infotech I have an offer from Atos and Hcl and Lti . Highest package is LTI with 19 lpa , YOE 10 years sap basis . I am trying to negotiate with atos for 22 lpa but it seems they are reluctant to agree and they said max they can offer is 19 lpa. Sorry to disappoint you, but that's not reality. In reality Tech F may seemed to be carved out but Eviden has to pay a billion euro+ 1.9 billion euro debt which means that from day 1 Eviden would be in huge debt and I dont think its the right time to join anynof the company unless you really dont have other choice. And which domain/role are you joining, if I may ask?

The current situation is more or less same as it happens after mergers and acquisitions.Eviden employees are bit disappointed as the dictats coming from top are not that encouraging.3 days compulsory work from office has been mandated.For Tech Foundation it's 1 or 2 days depending on your manager.You may get GCM 6 or 7 which is a good position but if it's individual contributor role then may be some issues.Yes ....lots of senior managers leaving( including me).So think before you leap.Not sure what is the bench policy at Eviden but in Atos it was quite good.
Yes....thats part and parcel of mergers and acquisitions.By Cash rich I meant compared to Tech Foundations.Just because the company has some debt doesn't mean it's in shambles.And I very specifi ally mentioned atleast for next 2 years.We will all come to know what happens to Eviden and Tech foundations in next 2 years.Trust me I have seen and been part of many acquisitions and mergers since 2007.But let's hope for the best as many employees bread and butter is linked with both companies.

One thing that I don't understand is, if situation is really bad in Eviden, how come they are still handing out increments, however small that might be? I saw few other posts in Atos and Eviden forums where people were discussing about the % increment they received. On the other hand, most of the other companies have either paused or gave 0% increment, even when attritions were pretty high in some of them.
