What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

After the FAQ updates today, here’s my advice and assessment:
- It is highly likely that anyone resigning will not be paid the full amount through 30 SEP or that will die in March when funding won’t get appropriated.
- Another commenter had mentioned a round of more aggressive tactics will begin if not enough people quit. For those hanging on beyond 06Feb, that at least gives you a chance to lean on certain labor protections against politically motivated RIFs or get some sort of settlement if your agency missteps somehow.
- If you can land a job offer prior to 06 FEB, it is probably worth taking, considering it is then a win/win if your pay is better or equal. There’s a small chance you see some or all of your promised gov pay, leaving you better off overall.
- It is also likely we will be granted some sort of liquidation option for our TSP account holdings, or at a minimum the ability to transfer the amount to an eligible fund.
- The deferred resignation program is still not a true severance, and I think that’s all you need to know to assume Trump doesn’t intend to pay you.
Well they're offering that voluntary severance. I guess my fear is not enough people take it and they'll do something more drastic. Is anyone in this bowl thinking about volunteering to give up their role? I've been considering it honestly. The severance is very good.
It is illegal. You won't see a penny.
This "voluntary severance" is, from my understanding,, lasting until September. They give you the option to return to work however no longer remote.

Very likely.
