I waited until my probation was over.
I’ve waited until the probationary period is over

It isn’t a knock on you, but this question is why i let my LinkedIn lapse. I turned off notifying my network too. Too many things to worry about.
Are you really jonesing that badly for “likes” and “hand claps?”
I always wait at least 3 months
How is listing your new company “fake positivity”? Should we disparage them for updating their resume and portfolio too? Who pissed in your cereal this morning? Absolute weirdo
If it’s a job I’m honestly excited about, I do it right away. Otherwise whenever.
I’d wait a couple months unless it went so good the first month.
Why wait at all?
Sometimes either party realizes in the first month or so that the other isn’t what they wanted and abandon the arrangement. So to avoid any chatter about what went wrong you wait til it’s more of a sure thing.

Pleased to announce
Depends how ashamed you are of working there.
announce it on day one! if for some reason your new position doesn't work out, you can always edit and potentially delete things from your profile later. updating your profile on start date sends a positive message. why start a new and exciting role with a question mark? just do it.
I like seeing connections growth and appreciate knowing.
