How many hours do you actually work a week?

Have an offer with CoStar Group in DC. Also interviewing with Northrop Grumman. As someone who is exiting consulting for better work-life balance & lower stress, which company would be better to exit to?

At what point do you draw the line on WLB? Working insane hours on a long/term project with what feels like no end in sight. It’s not sustainable but clearly expected. Could you get fired for drawing lines in the sand and saying (example) “come 8:30 every night I’m logging off”. That’s a 65 hour work week as-is but I currently am up until midnight working consistently. For context I’ve been rated as a strong performer consistently and am not new to the job so it’s not a lack of understanding.

I'm an outpatient nurse currently but I don't get lunch breaks, and the work load keeps increasing with no mention of another nurse to help us.

I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously.
