Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?
I’m also interviewing for Senior consultant role also at Deloitte. How much would this typically pay?
Torn whether to stay within NHS as I will be getting an internal promotion or move to Deloitte.

Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

I was recently reminded of the movie short circuit from the 80’s.
I’m making all my younger coworkers watch it and telling them that Johnny 5 is basically Claude / Gemini, just 30 years ago.

How many people commute every day, but don't know what a spark plug is?
Here's what I try to keep in my head:
In beforetimes, we had determinism. Someone presents a problem or question, a program is created to produce results, and you would have the same results every time proving that the program works.
Nowadays with AI we have non-determinism. Someone presents a problem or question, AI consumes empirical data of results to generate a pattern, and you could have different results that then need to be verified to be correct.
