What is salary range of lead associate in EYGds?
Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

I hate traveling with a coat
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Depends on experience going in. At the associate level you can expect $300k at C/A/K. Girlfriend just made the change from IB to PE, NYC.
First year seems so be in the upper 100k range after everything is said and done. Can't personally speak to that level.
Out of college last year my friend worked at a big one in NY and made 80 base, didn't stay long enough for bonus
Why did he leave
More money
After you do your stint as a banker, newly minted PE associates make 250-350 (all in), base is generally low to mid 100's. Issue is that most will keep you for only a few years then make you go back to b-school, very rarely are there internal promotes unless you're a stud. The VP pool is about 20% of the associate pool so most people get stuck as an associate for a while or end up going into something else.
Ends up being really good money as a 25 year old, average for a 30 year old. If you are good and can bring in money/do deals, you can climb, but that's like any industry.
Probably more important for you to find something you want to do and are good at, because you make the real money when you are a partner/boss anyways so you mind as well find something you enjoy.
