How much does industry experience matter at the associate level? Chatting with a recruiter this week and will likely be asked what city I am applying for. I have big 4 audit/TS experience focused on energy industry, but my dream is to move to NYC. Is this possible? Or should I just say Houston and try to get staffed on NYC projects in my downtime.

Hi, just got an offer from A&M as D (Performance Improvement). The base from Glassdoor is accurate (US as a benchmark). Bonus is much higher than my current. Anyway the base seems very low compared to S& SA in US.
1) is it true that the base is that low compared to junior-mid level at S&?
2) i am based in Asia, any different rate compared to other region at A&M?
3) the TC can be 3x that what I can get currently, but i can make partner in few years at PwC. Do you think A&M should be considered?
