Location is usually not a criteria if you are willing to travel. Good industry experience couple with progression is definitely a desired attribute

Thanks for insight. Followed my heart and requested NYC and got invited to a second round. Things are looking good

Help me choose between these offers: €105k TC corp strat SM at a DAX company in Germany in a LCOL but nice city. €7.5k signing bonus + relocation. Long-term, I'd rather live in Germany, but I have a personal network in Chicago from business school so either is fine in the short-term. Thanks for your input.

I’d like to apologize in advance as this maybe a touchy topic for certain folks. For those that have been in the Big 4 for sometime now (i.e. was hired before this covid induced hiring spree over the past couple months), are you concerned that your market value would decrease as a result of the firms hiring people left and right? In other words, the recruiting has been excessively relaxed now compared to when there was intense competition.

Interviewing tip needed: I feel like a diversity hire at most of the companies I have worked for. A sentiment that is felt by other diverse colleagues at my job. When looking for a new job, what questions can I ask to find this out before I join? How can I assess whether a company truly values my skillset, pay equally, & promote equally? Whether there are implicit biases at play? My current job has 2 diverse bosses at senior level so I took that as a good sign but I was wrong.

Apart from mastering SQL, I wanted to know from people working at Google what does it take to get there as a Data Scientist? (I'm very interested in Strategy Ops) I plan to another 6-8 months in preparation and upskilling myself before I even apply. Any help and guidance is appreciated! Thanks :)

Questions for past/ current Accenture or Big 4 folks. I noticed in some threads that SC level only applies to Strategy consulting (at Accenture- not sure about big 4). Could Product Manager be SC level if I have my MBA or is it not even considered a Strategy role? And do they only consider you an “MBA hire” if it’s from a top tier school? Lastly, I’ve seen quite a big salty range for MBA hires. Anyone care to share the latest? TIA.
