I stand corrected, in my case, almost 6 years ago, the equity given was 120% of base and 100% cash, with a 5 year vesting period (cliff vest on 5th year), as an L3.

OP, I do not know the exact numbers for L3 and L4, however L2 was ~$500k in stock plus a cash signing bonus of $200k broken up into two payments.

I would expect the numbers to be slightly lower for L3 and L4. A new promote to L4 gets $175k in award grant.

The percentage is for the annual equity bonus. That’s on top of the welcome grant.
