How much of your fertility journey did you share with your managers/mentors? 2 miscarriages and going through medicated cycles - it needs me to be in my home office while I'm on a travel project and frequent doctor appointments. It is unfortunately not a black and white journey where I can say with certainty how and when things will come to a conclusion.

I'm on a work visa so switching jobs is not an option for me and I can't afford to lose my job either.

I’m on an estrogen patch and I feel like it’s making me really sad. Has this happened to anyone else?

Anyone with stage IV endo and recurring Endometriomas gone on Lupron after egg retrieval? I’m still on birth control but my doc said after egg retrieval (assuming we get a strong embryo), I’d get off of birth control and on lupron for two months before transfer. The reason I’m not getting off of birth control now is because it manages my pain.

I’m going in for a retrieval on Friday. What should I expect after the procedure? Is it reasonable to expect that I should be able to work throughout the day after the procedure?

Husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. His semen analysis came back all normal with the exception of morphology at 1% (Kruger Strict criteria). Anyone have insights into morphology and it’s impacts on fertility? From what I’ve read and after talking to our fertility specialist morphology seems subjective.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good OB in NYC?

Trying to have faith but my recent cycle netted 16 eggs, 8 fertilized and only 2 made it to day 5 for testing. There were 3 others that just didn’t mature. This is my third cycle and I’ve been pretty positive up until today. It’s especially hard to get this news in the middle of a work day. Just tired, still bloated and not feeling all that hopeful as we enter this LONG wait until we get the results next week. I hate feeling like this knowing my chances are getting slimmer by the day.

For those who had a successful pregnancy with ivf, do you remember when or if you had the symptoms? I am now 10 days post transfer and dont really feel anything except lazy and tired but that could also be from progesterone supplements.

Okay, so I have pretty bad cystic acne, clogged pores and enlarged pores. I’ve been using curology and a mild dermatologist recommended soap. I have seen some improvement, however I was curious if anyone was struggling with it and has tried the “Flo Vitamin gummy’s “ on top of my fertility struggle this really has kinda killed my confidence. I know it’s not specifically fertility related but Was hoping to get some feedback on similar situations

Questions to make sure to ask at first egg freezing consult with RE? It’s my first time so I want to make sure I don’t miss anything!

For those of you who had miscarriages after IVF, was there an underlying cause? Did you do genetic testing of your embryos? Did you do frozen or fresh transfer? Are there any ways to minimise chances of miscarriage during ivf?

Finally had a breakdown over infertility this AM and trying to pull myself together for Zoom. My tests are fine, but husband can’t deliver during my fertile window. I feel so hopeless with every month that goes by, and he doesn’t have any sense of urgency when HE is the one who wants kids more than I do. Just needed to vent.

Has anyone switched labs for better lab quality/embryologist experience? Wondering if there is a significant difference between labs. We got poor results at our current clinic and, happens that our clinic is rated lower on SART website. Wondering if the lab quality is the reason or if the clinic handles complicated cases that lead to lower outcomes. Overall, unsure if we should switch clinics or just try again at the current one. Thanks.

Thoughts on at-home pregnancy test 7 days post day 5 embryo transfer? Risks? Downsides? We have our blood test Sunday on day 9.

At the donor egg phase and just not dealing with it well. Having all kinds of regrets if I tried hard enough. Maybe should have ate better, tried all these different things. Did I do IVF too quickly? Some say IVF makes your eggs worse. Is this true???

Does Next Gen issue a formal report for PGS testing results? I had my embryos tested and my clinic just told me which were normal and abnormal. No other info on embryos ratings, etc. they could have not even sent it in for all I know!
Also, how involved are you REs? I’ve been through 2 retrievals now, but feel kinda in the dark still on a lot of things. Some of the nurses are hit or miss and if I want to talk to my doctor I have to schedule a consultation and its typically a 2 week wait.

To do an ERA or not before transfer is the question. My clinic said currently the recommendation is to only do an ERA with multiple transfer fails, but I’ve read about ERA’s for those with recurrent pregnancy loss as well. Anyone go through this experience?
