How risky is it to join a company that currently has a fractional GC (with plans to hire a permanent one later)? Not sure if I’m too reading into it in thinking its not a good sign if the company didn’t prioritize a GC hire, and the current AGCs report to a VP in Finance.

NFW- I just had a good laugh. Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. I have one pro bono case that I kept when I left my firm to go in house. I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating.
