What big firms let you get to manager and above with an MBA and/or EA for tax?

I’ve worked in PA for almost 2yr and have got my CPA. However, there are times when I feel like my brain is so slow when understanding client’s JE flow esp when it comes to accrual/reserve and where manual AJEs are involved etc. I feel like understanding accounting in the context of audit is different from doing the actual corporate accounting. Sometimes I feel like a fake accountant LOL

Someone reached out to me on LinkedIn about becoming an author on the side. Has anyone heard about such a thing?!? The person said she’s worked with 800 consultants writing their books and marketing it for them.

I was hired within the last year as a site supervisor. I did well my first few projects with the company. They asked if I’d be interested in transitioning into a construction manager role. I agreed. Now I still am the site supervisor on projects but I’m also doing all the construction manger duties on the project as well. Essentially 2 jobs for one salary. We have yearly reviews in December but no talks of raise have been discussed. Any help on approaching this to my boss?

Does anyone know how much aws advisory consultants have to travel or get paid? A general range is fine. Or what the work load and environment look like? I was considering leaving consulting and going industry as an internal role in a big tech company but then this possible opportunity came up for aws consulting.

I’m working a Principal TPM for a FinTech firm offering digital payments platform. I have 10+ YOE and recently got MBA. I got an offer from TCS of 8.13LPA for 4 yoe in automotive domain and accepted that offer. but my salary was revised from 6.2 to 7.74 LPA in appraisal at my current company, now if I compare it with tcs it is I am getting less than 10% raise in tcs . How should I approach to HR in tcs regarding this issue.
