It’s just rapid, transactional feedback that is normal and part of the process. Don’t take it personally. Iterate and move on to the next thing.
As an SM who fixs typos and grammar errors in supposedly final draft version of an exsum going to CEO, i couldnt care less what irks you. Plz fix
I get frustrated by those sorts of comments that they could seemingly do themselves. However, there is a little value in pointing it out in the way they do. We don't get the same coaching/training/up-skilling like we used to. Leaving comments is sort of the accepted means in a collaborative tool for remote work. Not saying it doesn't feel trivial, but they might be pointing to style or something else you can learn from.
Why does every thread turn into this?

pls fix
OP, you sound clueless and unwilling to learn. How would you know what to look out for going forward if they just fix it? It’s their job to call your attention to it and yours to fix it and not repeat similar mistakes. You should be grateful they are using the time to teach you so you can refine your skills.
They aren’t doing it because they’re lazy. They’re doing it so that you become more accustomed to picking out the mistakes. It’s a form of mentorship, and it means they care about your development.
The only problem that leaders have when they do this is if they don’t call that out as a form of mentorship upfront because otherwise it looks like they’re being lazy.
Rising Star
If this is the peak of your irritations you should be glad.
That's true, actually

If you don’t understand what they are asking you to do, ask them to clarify
Therapy
Already do that
Ask your manager. If you're a co sultans who doesn't understand what the partner wants, there's almost always a manager or someone else you can ask who is more fakiliar with the partner's communication or wirking style. If you're on a small piece of work reporting directly to the partner, you can ask to clarify. Ask by saying something like "when I see comment A, I think I should do B. Is that understanding correct?" rather than just "what does this mean?".
I am now only referring to myself as a co-sultan
Do you ever hit em back with a "why?"
Don’t take it personally, just reply in comments with “updated” and once complete send a ping to confirm they’re done. Upper mgrs don’t have time to write couched suggestions on multiple slides.
Sorry, could you explain what you don’t like about comments like that?
It looks like something I would leave in a rapid review to support a team.
Do what the partner says. Also, what BCG1 said.
