My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

It’s unlikely that the firm will find out that you took another job and didn’t tell them. You’re going to have to rely on your own moral judgment here.
As an example, I would feel compelled to tell the firm if I had accepted another offer if I had initiated search myself. However, I wouldn’t judge anyone who was pushed out by the firm (e.g. emerging concerns re: utilization) for not telling the firm about the new offer.
I was chatted with a colleague who left for a 3rd-year out, ended up becoming staying in the company, and the firm just realized he left…. He’s been out for 5 years
The firm will not find out. Have seen a bunch of people do it, especially if you are on a visa and need to wait for your H1B transfer process to complete.
