I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

Q: for FAANG recruiters, do candidates get a reject stamp after failing even at the later stages?
I advanced to the last stage at Facebook (Meta) around a year ago but failed on my last interview, a combination of not being familiar with the process and not having chemistry with the interviewer.
A friend who is a hiring manager recently recommended me and this time without even a HR call I received a straight up thanks but no thanks email.
Does this mean I’ve been permanently black listed?

Every agency and account is different in terms of their needs. An AAE position is the most junior person on the account team, so it is the standard to do basic, administrative things. The key is to make sure you are nailing those tasks, asking smart questions and being proactive. If you can do those things and establish trust with your managers, they will give you more responsibilities.
How long since you started? If less than 2-3 months, they simply may not know you well and fully trust you yet. Perhaps milk the slow times while they last?:) Have you asked for more work? Congrats on getting another position after being laid off. You're doing fine, you have years ahead of you to be busy, no rush.
thank you!! & yes I am in my 4th month now. that’s also what I thought as well, I’m just just concerned because I have asked to be on projects and they say I can and then don’t let me assist with anything but i think I just have to keep inserting myself into the conversation.
You went from one agency as an AAE to another as an AAE? Can I ask why?
I was laid off at my last agency and when looking for positions I was open to do another assistant position
