Do tech companies like FAANG hire strategy consultants? Starting at an MBB/T2 next year and curious if tech companies leverage consultants as much as other industries. Im pretty extroverted, I have been told in reviews that I peak in verbal communication, and I have really loved conducting expert interviews in DDs.

I intend to ask about annual merit increases and what they have been previously, but was wondering if anyone had ever negotiated an annual increase based on inflation in addition to any performance based merit increases. Seems like a smart way to protect myself while times are so volatile and not get stuck with the typical 3% when inflation is 8+. Thoughts?
