I Accepted IBM offer and my current company gave a counter offer for Retention. I'll inform IBM HR and will drop the offer before 30 days of DoJ, will there be any impact? Can I join IBM in future or my profile will be blacklisted?

I have been working as accountant for past 10 years at a logistics company. I want to change my route and join different industries for better challenges and opportunities. How can I approach new firms with this single industry background.

I am a Sales Executive with over 16 years over experience with FedEx. During the Pandemic I took a risk and moved to a different industry. Unfortunately my new company was greatly impacted by the pandemic and on Thursday I lost my job due to downsizing.

Am I the only person who has been super disgusted to Fishbowl’s response to the Meta layoffs? I’ve been laid off twice in my career but I’m not mad at 11000 people who no longer have jobs just cause they got decent severance while I got a week on my way out. Facebook is hot garbage but I’m pretty sure 0 out of the 11000 were making those decisions. So why are you upset about it? Urgh. Y’all are weird.

Joining IBM in December. under 30% tax-slab.
How is my tax calculated, will IBM ask for my prev. comp Form16? (or my ctc is prorated for Dec,Jan,Feb,Mar)
at least for the 4 months of this FY I need full sal. in hand.

I received a mail from IBM to login in Candidate portal with your email id to see the offer letter. When I am trying to login it's giving error as invalid username.

My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? I am very anxious it's too late so I cant even call recruiter.
