My contract is coming to an end so I contacted my manager was offered an job at same 7b level at 17 lakhs . Should I take the offer , will I have growth in the Company? JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Jpmc: 50% on current fixed + jpmc benefits Walmrat: 50% on current fixed + yearly bonus + stocks.
Please help me choose which will be better, mainly looking for brand value, work life balance and yearly hikes.

My friend got 20L fix with 2.5 year of experience in CAO- 601 position. I think you should talk to your manager or else try for IJP. You will get your worth in different other project. If you completed one year in JPMC then you can directly start applying, No need of your manager approval for this-also you have strong reason for IJP.

Hello Sharks, Just FYI my salary got revised in mid term appraisal and now my CTC is 25 LPA. Still behind the curve but getting there slowly. JPMC rocks!!!!

Ideally you should get around 25 lpa. I joined as 601 associate with 4 years of experience, getting 20.5 lpa fixed

Way back in 2016 when promoted from 601 to 602 , revised CTC was 21. YOE was 9. Low CTC may be the reason for manager to have good rapport

See, you are getting not less or not more from your level. As 602 base salary close to 15L and max 25L/30L. You will certainly reach there. Salary is the outcome of your effort, so don't think too much on it. You are part of a great firm, be positive.

As you have 8 years of experience then ideal salary is 35+ because i have friends with 5 to 7 yrs experience holding 30L fix offer.
If you have another offer then its a win win situation for you. But keep it in my JPMC doesn't entertain much, even they are not retaining existing employees
Not sure about JP morgan. But it is very low for 8 YOE..

Just 9 months back. I had to take a transfer to Mumbai. I started from a Tier 2 city and stayed way too long in my comfort zone so I got a little behind in compensation. I am trying to bridge that gap slowly

602 woth 19LPA is loss..but as you are in CIB you will get ver good bonus. But I doubt on your grade

I thinks this is pretty low. IMO start planning for a switch again. JP can pay you double of your current salary but they won't now. My friend joined same Dept. with same role at 2.5 YOE and got 25 fix

I was offered 32 LPA fixed in hr round but due to some job hold issue offer letter was not given. YOE - 7
No offers at that time, hr was very rigid and delayed the discussion a lot. My ctc is 25
Is there any compensation hike in JPMC when we take an IJP?
No, but the opening is for higher grade then definitely you can have a discussion with hiring manager
After accepting offer can we re negotiate the ctc and if so will I face any consequences like reverting the offer, or after joining
