Any tips for new teachers trying to get a job?

I am a recent college graduate and am trying to get a job in a different state. Any tips on interviewing, applying, or choosing a school to apply for?

Think about the things you're looking for in a school - culture, support, extracurriculars, etc - and research about the schools in your area that fit your interests. Look up their social media accounts and websites, do your research and come up with questions for them! Just as much as this is an interview for you, it's also an interview for them because you want to make sure it's a good fit! When I was interviewing I also put together a little bit of a welcome letter that I emailed to the principal at the schools I was applying for. In it I just talked about my strengths, why I wanted to teach there and anything else I wanted them to know before I came into the interview or that could add to my standard application. I think it also helped with showing them how enthusiastic I was about the potential job and a bit of my personality. Good luck in your job hunt!!

Looking an affordable (<$100) leather band watch watch with a simple face. For a man, not looking to say “I’m rich” but “functional and tasteful.” Worn with grey suits and biz-casual. Thanks for recs!
