I am an SAP consultant, have got H1B visa and 83K USD petition amount as annual package. Here I and my wife both are working and earning 50LPA together. My 7 yr old daughter and my wife will be on H4 Visa and she won't be able to work initially. I am confused whether I should opt for US or stay here only. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I lied about my fixed pay to the HR. He didn't ask for pay slip and all. The discussion happened over a phone call. They had sent me the offer letter with the compensation statement and I had sent them acceptance mail also. The onboarding has also started. In future whenever they ask about my salary slip will it create any issue. While saying fixed pay to HR, I just increased it by 1 lakh.
